I hate this bloody sin bestowed upon this once great nation. “Once” hurls this whole greatness into past tense.
There is no greatness where blood guiltiness is upon us, only a coming judgment that will burn into consciences like an arrow piercing the heart or a spear ripping through flesh and bone. It will leave an unrepairable wound that can only leave death but gives the wounded just enough time to consider and know why they are suffering such.

It’s coming. Repentance is the only hope, but the kind of repentance necessary has rarely been utilized anywhere. Pride must be annihilated to the extreme and sinful hearts must melt with gratitude to our Saviour Jesus.

Preachers of good standing with men must be replaced with servants of good standing with God. Being dignified must be overcome with real fruit bearing labor. Being “secure” must be exchanged with being secure in Him (Jesus). Praises of men need to be looked upon as filth. God doesn’t share his praise. Career ministers should leave the “posh” church setting and spend hours pleading with the lost to avoid God’s wrath and judgment. Jails, bars and abortuaries would be a good place to start. There’s always plenty of fish in those waters.

Nearly all choose the aquarium because it’s controllable by man and non-threatening. The disciples left the upper room with all its fellowship and comfort. What did they get for it? I think you know! So do most of our pastors today. It wasn’t a salary, house and paid mileage. There’s nothing wrong with these if the world is truly being infiltrated with the message of Christ. The Laborer really is worthy of his hire, but feeding aquarium fish is not much of a job by itself and certainly doesn’t earn him the title “fisherman.”
