Everyone knows John 3:16, I ask you to read John 3:16-21. Here is the love of God to all mankind, that none should perish but have everlasting life. Most people stop at God so loved, hearing only a loving God. They don't believe He is a just God, that He will punish all sinners forever if they die in their sins, that He commands all men, women, boys and girls to repent, that His judgement is without mercy. The God who you read about in John 3:16 is the same God of the Old Testament, Malachi 3:6 says, "I am the Lord, I change not." God proved His love for mankind while we were yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly. Now God commands everyone to stop sinning. Without repentance a person will hate the light (Jesus Christ). In Matt. 10:22, Jesus tells his disciples you will be hated by all men for my name's sake. Ask yourself, do you hate the light of the world and love darkness? Simply stated, you either love God or you don't, you are in Christ or you are not, you are a saint or a sinner. Pick one. Friend, look at yourself today in truth, look into the mirror of God's Law, see where your soul will spend eternity if you die today. The world's problem is sin and here's how God feels about sin, Psalms 5:4-5 says, "For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, nor shall evil dwell with You. The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity." God hates sin, He always has and always will. Sinners love their sins and hate anyone who tells them their sinning. Jesus said, unless we repent we will all perish. Somewhere in time, true repentance was changed to just confess, now the sinner can join a church, hear John 3:16 and Romans 10:9 and be saved. The result of this process allows a sinner to create a God who is okay with his sin, a God who will overlook that part of his life that he or she won't give up. America is saying that it is okay to kill the innocent - over 50 million babies have been murdered, many are saying homosexual relationships are okay, the Ten Commandments cannot be displayed, baby Jesus cannot be displayed at Christmas time in some places, prayer is banned in school, they are attempting to take the name of God off of our money, men speaking the Word of God are being arrested. Does this sound like a nation who loves the light (Jesus Christ) or the darkness (sin)? God says if you love me, you will keep my Commandments, repent or perish, be ye holy as your Father in heaven is holy. America's justice system says you are innocent until proven guilty. Heaven's system says you are guilty until repentance. He who endures to the end will be saved, no one can serve two masters, you will love one and hate the other. |
