Ezekiel 3:17-20 says we are watchmen. If we don't warn sinners of their ways, their blood will be on our hands. Ezekiel was a street preacher who made it plain and simple, turn or burn, turn and learn. The only thing God wants His people to do is to tell sinners the penalty of a sinful life without accepting Jesus Christ.

Many people don't want to hear about their lifestyles and a bunch of laws telling them how wrong it is. Here is the simple truth, if you die and you have lived a sinful life without accepting Jesus Christ, you will have to pay your sin debt for eternity.

How do we live a sinful life? First, let's look at what sin is. Sin is breaking God's Law (the Ten Commandments). Here is why it's important we share the gospel of Christ, the world is telling sinners that what they are doing is all right. What's the harm in one lie or a 50 year old saying I only stole when I was a teenager or I ran around on my spouse but I don't anymore or because I'm a good person now God will overlook my past. I can't make you believe me, all I can do is tell the truth in love. One lie in your entire lifetime makes you a liar in God's sight. If you have ever stolen anything, regardless of value, that makes you a thief in God's sight.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:21-28, If you look upon a person with lust you have already committed adultery in your heart. If you have hate in your heart that is the same as murder. These laws are so strict that if you break one you are guilty of all.

When a Christian tells someone God's standard of living, they are not judging, only sharing truth in love. Look at it like this, the speed
limit on I-55 is 70 mph, when you see that warning, your conscience tells you anything over that is breaking the law, that sign is not
judging you. You can drive 150 mph if you want. Here's the flip side, when that state trooper pulls you over, I'm almost certain one of his first questions will be, "Did you see that sign that says the speed limit is 70 mph?" So when a Christian shares God's Holy Law, it is not to judge you but warn you. You can live any way you like but when that Heavenly Sheriff pulls your soul over, He is going to ask you, "Did you you hear about me and my son who died for the sins of the world?" The Bible says once appointed a man to die then the judgment. God is going to judge the whole world in righteousness. The Ten Commandments are perfect, those Commandments demand a perfect sacrifice. Jesus Christ was that perfect sacrifice and our only hope of glory. The world says if it feels good do it, Jesus says repent and trust in me.

James 5:19-20 says, "Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his ways will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins." Romans 10:14-15 says, "How then, shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace."
